Lightly raced Distance winners don't do very well. Only 1 winner from 13 qualifiers - based upon 1 to 4 runs. Out goes Central Station, and Pampas Cat.
Runners that won their last race as 2yo and have not won this year account for 9 unplaced and 2 seconds. Out goes Moynahan and Whitcombe Minister.

Derby runners have won 1 from 3 qualifiers
Not sure about gns runners but at least 1 Irish gns runner did not win.
Fanjura did not progress from first run so is binned.

Interesting are the Derby and gns horses (Moynahan also ran in gns) but no winner apart from 1 that had not run in current season had not run for more than 34 days so that may rule out Alfathaa and Feared in Flight and Latin Lad

The value has to be Khateeb at 50/1 with a placed Listed run last time and upped in distance today.
The danger King of Rome - and O'Brien has won this twice in last 4 years

Collection won it at 13/2 having broken the stat regarding winner as both 2yo & 3yo.
Staying on - another 2yo & 3yo winner finished 2nd.
King of Rome finished 3rd and the "value" of the race Khateeb 33/1 finished 4th.
